KYLE
Kyle is a born and raised Durham native. He spent his early career with Duke Basketball and Duke Football before transitioning into sports tech at Teamworks. He’s an entrepreneur who has started multiple companies to help people connect with each other through shared passions and experiences- former athletes looking for career advice at NextPlay and Swifties following The Eras Tour with Swift Alert.
Kyle hopes to bring all of these experiences together to make Revel a place where people can build community through an athletic endeavor and- hopefully- plenty of Taylor Swift.
CO-FOUNDER + STUDIO MANAGER
Christian grew up in Waxhaw, NC, and recently finished his Master of Public Policy at Duke University. Before that, he earned degrees in biology and public policy from UNC Chapel Hill, where he first got into fitness through bodybuilding and weight training. During grad school, his friends introduced him to spin, and he’s been building his endurance and confidence on the bike ever since.
He found Revel over the summer and was quickly drawn to the studio’s radiant atmosphere and inclusive community. When he’s not lifting or spinning, you can catch Christian reading sci-fi novels in Duke Gardens, taste-testing restaurants around the Triangle, or enjoying time outdoors.

DEBBIE
Debbie comes from Atlanta, GA where she grew up dancing, playing volleyball, and tagging along in her two older brothers' outdoor adventures. During undergrad she discovered rythym-based cycling which combined her love of music and community driven activity and provided the support she needed to "make it out" of Georgia Tech.
She moved to Durham last year for graduate school at Duke in pursuit of her PhD in Pharmacology and Cancer Biology, and serendipitously found Revel! From dance to cycling the studio has always been a safe-space for Debbie and she is excited to support Revel as a safe-space for the community.
When she is not at Revel or in the lab, Debbie is outside and following the sunshine, either running, walking, or enjoying a good book.
Abby is originally from Columbia, Missouri, and first moved to NC to attend Davidson College. Currently, she's a Duke grad student working towards her master's in public policy. She is relatively new to cycling, but has felt so inspired by the community and upbeat energy Revel has brought to her workout routine.
In her free time, you can most likely find Abby reading a mystery or romance novel, going on long walks on Durham trails, or enjoying time with her friends.

claire
Raised in Los Angeles, California, Claire is a senior at Duke University studying Neuroscience and a member of the Duke swim team. After spending much of her time training and competing, she found Revel as a place to build community outside of swimming and instantly fell in love with the energy and encouragement in every class.
When she's not at Revel, you can usually find her exploring Durham restaurants and coffee shops, training with her team, or spending time with friends. She’s looking forward to meeting new riders and being a small part of what makes the Revel community so special.
Originally from Balsam Lake, WI and a Marquette University alum, Maggie moved to Durham for her master's degree in global health at Duke. Her fitness journey started with running and has expanded to include weightlifting and spin.
A friend introduced her to spin back in Wisconsin, and while trying to start up again she found Revel — she loved how energetic and welcoming the environment is!

SARAH A.
Sarah grew up in a small rural town in central Virginia before attending Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree. She and her husband moved to Durham three years ago so she could pursue her PhD in Chemistry.
Outside of the lab, she’s an avid runner who has trained for two marathons since moving to North Carolina. An injury led her to discover spin, and it quickly became her favorite outlet for both challenge and stress relief.
When she’s not training, she’s usually curled up with a romance novel or spending time with her dogs.
FJ
Originally from Wilson, NC, Reagan (RJ) recently made the move from Raleigh to Durham in March 2026. She’s always loved cycling, not just for the ride itself, but for the incredible community it creates, which is why she is so excited to be part of the Revel team! Cycling became a huge part of RJ’s life when she discovered having POTS & EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), and it not only helps her to grow stronger physically, but also to grow stronger mentally.
Outside of cycling & work, RJ loves spending time with her dog Molly and her partner Ryan, going to see the latest horror film, and cheering on the Carolina Hurricanes! Go Canes!
Born in Michigan, Grace moved to Durham in 2020 to begin her career at Duke University after completing graduate school in Austin, Texas. She took her first ever spin class at Revel and instantly fell in love. The community and environment were exactly what she needed in that chapter of her life and looks forward to welcoming everyone else who might walk through the doors at Revel.
Outside of the studio, Grace is a career counselor. In her free time, you will find her with her husband, Calvin, and daughter, Nora. She is an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan, loves reality TV, and enjoys walking the Durham Farmers Market with a coffee in hand.

Sarah k
Sarah is originally from the northern Virginia area but moved to Durham, NC for graduate school at Duke and to be near family. Sarah was introduced to indoor cycling by a friend and it quickly became a form of self-care. Sarah enjoys indoor cycling because of the upbeat energy and opportunity to show up for herself in the form of movement.
Revel is a place Sarah comes to surround herself with a positive, uplifting community. When Sarah is not at Revel, she enjoys watching sports (Go Hokies & Blue Devils), binge watching reality TV, outdoor walks, and trying local restaurants with a gluten free menu.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Grace moved to Durham, NC in March 2025. She played sports in high school, but started taking a more serious interest in fitness after college when she realized just how sedentary life can be.
In her spare time, Grace loves trying new restaurants with her Fiancé and trying new outdoor activities.

Lexi
Lexi comes from Blacksburg, VA where she grew up in the pool, spending her childhood as a competitive swimmer. That love of movement followed her to William & Mary, where she studied Kinesiology and swam at the D1 level. She has since channeled that passion into triathlon, competing in 70.3 IRONMANs. She recently graduated from Duke with her Master's in Global Health, and found Revel along the way. Revel is the perfect intersection of music, community, and the athletic mindset, and a fun reset from the demands of school and 70.3 training. When she's not on the bike or the race course, Lexi is at home with her two cats!
